Welcome to St Peter’s. We are the Methodist Church in Broomhill, Bristol, situated at the junction of School Road and Allison Road.

We serve the communities of Broomhill, Brislington and St Annes. We run and host a wide range of weekday and evening activities which are supported by our weekly Sunday worship which lasts for approximately one hour and is followed by tea or coffee.

We believe that Christian communities are built on relationships so we focus on our relationship with God in and through Jesus, our relationships with each other as church and our relationships in the wider community and the world. These relationships are based on mutual respect, acceptance, care, concern and finally, last but not least, encouragement.

We welcome all in the life of our church. Should you wish to have further information about any of our activities then please do not hesitate to contact us.

Small Groups

We are running a number of small groups across SBMC so we can enjoy conversation and learning together. Online groups take place fortnightly on Tuesday mornings and Wednesday afternoons. In person groups meet on Monday and Tuesday mornings and Monday evenings.

We also run Alpha courses for those who are new to and interested in faith to explore Christianity

We are currently looking at the topics of Friendship and Hope and exploring what the Bible has to say about these topics. It isn’t just about study though but just as much about friendships and growing in confidence. Do join us

St Peter’s actively supports Turnaround Bristol (formerly The Methodist Centre) which helps homeless and vulnerable people, and Christian Aid - UK charity fighting global poverty - Christian Aid.
